Jean Luc Colombo Cape Bleue Rosé 2017
A passion for wine, a dedication to quality and innovation in winemaking are what drive Jean-Luc and Anne Colombo in the south of France. Their contributions to Rhône Valley wines has been significant since 1984. Colombo’s innovative approach in the northern appellation of Cornas was revolutionary; his expressive, character-driven wines have helped breath new life into this highly-prestigious and acclaimed appellation. In fact, for their significant life-long contributions to their country, both Jean-Luc and Anne have been awarded the French Legion of Honor, France’s highest civilian award. Today, Jean-Luc, Anne and their daughter Laure, now head winemaker, continue to ensure the production of fine wines with regional typicity from major appellations of the Rhône Valley, as well as the Languedoc and Provence. They also focus on sustainable farming practices.
