Louis Roederer Brut Rosé Vintage 2013 750mlChampagne Louis Roederer, makers of Cristal Vintage Champagne, is one of the region's most prestigious houses. Roederer was founded in 1776 in the town of Reims in Champagne and is still an independent family business. This Brut Rosé is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, 20% of which is wine matured in oak tuns without malolactic fermentation; aged for four years in Roederer’s cellars and left for 6 months after dégorgement (disgorging) to attain perfect maturity. The wine has fruity aromas of wild red berries, followed by floral notes, and the sugary and spicy fragrance of zest; and the aromas of dried fruit and cocoa result from the wine’s vinifying in oak tuns. Rich and full-bodied, Brut Rosé exalts the maturity of the fruit. La Vieille Ferme Rosé 2019 1.5LJean Pierre Perrin established La Vieille Ferme over 35 years ago, when he chose to produce a reasonably priced, straightforward Rhône wine to sell by direct mail to French wine lovers. He used the same grape varieties in similar proportions to those planted at the family’s Château de Beaucastel, in a similar vinification process. The result was an immediate success in France, a wine of character and style in keeping with its Beaucastel heritage. Initially, Jean Pierre made only Côtes du Rhône, but steeply rising grape prices in 1976 caused him to switch to Côtes du Ventoux and eventually to produce a white wine from the mountainous Côtes du Luberon. Vineyard Brands introduced la Vieille Ferme into the United States in 1970. The response was an immediate, overwhelming acceptance and an outpouring of critical acclaim from eminently knowledgeable critics, such as Robert Parker, Craig Claiborne, Frank Prial, Terry Robards, John Foy, Dan Berger and Ben Giliberti, who recognized La Vieille Ferme for its consistently fine quality and value. Today La Vieille Ferme represents one of the best wine values in the world, and is a top seller here at the Bottle Shop. LVF rose is made of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault. This is dry, crisp and easy-to-drink with aromas and flavors of red fruits, flowers and citrus. Serve at lunchtime with salads, fresh tomatoes, cheeses, meats & cheeses.
Matias Riccitelli Hey Rosé! 2019 750mlYou can tell this is going to be fun just by looking at the label, but it isn't just charming and cool, this is really good dry Rose made of 100% Argentinian Malbec. Floral on the nose and medium weight on the palate, if you usually go for Provence Rose, try this. Winemaker Matías Riccitelli is the son of legendary Argentine winemaker, Jorge Riccitelli, who made the wines at Catena for many decades. A breakout star from a young age, Matías was born in Cafayate, Salta, a small village in northern Argentina where winemaking is an omnipresent trade and way of life. He grew up between Cafayate and Mendoza, studying and working with his dad, who was his winemaking mentor. From there, he went on to travel much of the wine world, learning along the way, and returned to Mendoza to serve as chief winemaker for two of Argentina’s top wineries, Fabre Montmayou and Bodega Norton. Matías Riccitelli started his boutique winery in 2009, located in Las Compuertas at 1100 meters above sea level. It is the highest area of Lujan de Cuyo, and here he tends 20 hectares of ungrafted old vineyards. Matías also works with small, independent growers that own their lands at the bottom of the Andes halfway between 1000 and 1700 meters above sea level - in Gualtallary, Chacayes, Altamira and La Carrera. All harvests are conducted by hand and fermentation takes place in small concrete vats and concrete eggs. Purity and delicacy in winemaking are prized by Matías and great care is taken in preserving the fruit’s singularity in order to obtain vibrant wines. Beautiful pink salmon color. This wine shows floral aromas with notes of white fruits and citrics. It is a fresh and elegant wine perfect for a summer sunset.

Charles Joguet Chinon Rosé 2019 750mlThis became our favorite house Rosé in the summer of 2019 and we plan on drinking it all year long as long as we have it in stock! Made of 100% handpicked organic Cabernet Franc, from vines of 30 years old on average, grown in siliceous alluvial sand, the Joguet Rosé is made by running off a certain quantity of juice from different vats, before the color of the must becomes too pronounced. It is very slowly fermented in stainless steel vats at low temperature (15° to 17°C), to preserve all the aromas, an essential characteristic looked for in this style of wine. Malolactic fermentation is avoided, as the freshness of the wine should be preserved intact. Enjoy throughout the year, and sometimes for 2 to 3 years depending on the vintage. Look for ripe yet tangy red fruits, especially cranberry, wild raspberry and plums on the nose and in the mouth. Essence of river stones and hints of licorice pick up as the wine opens up. This is a really beautiful rendition of dry Rosé in general, and a benchmark of the Loire Valley. The wines of Chinon have long been celebrated. French humanist and native son, François Rabelais, sang their praises as far back as the sixteenth century. However, the distinction with which the appellation is regarded today is due in part to the legacy left by a more contemporary icon: Charles Joguet. This young painter and sculptor abandoned a budding art career to assume direction of the family domaine in 1957. He soon began to question the common practice of selling grapes to negociants, as his own family had done for years. The Joguets owned prime vineyard land in between the Loire and Vienne Rivers, with some of their finest found on the left bank of the Vienne, just outside Chinon, in Sazilly. These very lieux-dits had been recognized for their character and defined before the Renaissance—some even date back to the Middle Ages. Variations in the soils of these alluvial plains were substantial enough to realize that he was sitting on what would be considered in other regions as premier cru and grand cru vineyards. To sell the grapes off or to vinify these individualized plots together would have been madness. Separate terroirs, he believed, necessitate separate vinifications. Over the course of his tenure, Charles took the risks necessary to master the single-vineyard bottling with an artistry that A.O.C. Chinon had never before seen. In so doing, he realized the true potential of the land. Charles has since retired. Today, the young, eager, and talented Kevin Fontaine oversees the vineyards and the cellars. He and his team farm thirty-six hectares of Cabernet Franc. Closely adhering to the tradition of Charles, the domaine bottles nine different cuvées, handling each one as a unique terroir and microclimate with individualized care and attention. That ethic trickles into the cellars as well, where careful deliberation and experimentation bring about gradual change.
Lyrarakis Liatiko Kedros Rosé 2019 750mlThis is an amazing new addition to our fabulous selection of rosé wines. We tasted and loved this with Bart Lyrarakis, whose family owns this estate on the island of Crete. Made of 100% Liatiko, an ancient indigenous grape of Greece, Kedros Rosé is going to wow all of our rosé wine lovers. On the foothills of Mt. Kedros, farmers have a tradition to keep a low bush vine format, in order to protect their fruit on shoots spreading over the soil, under a rich foliage. Protected from the winds of Mt. Psiloritis, and the strong Cretan sunshine, on altitudes exceeding 800m, the Liatiko grape variety is being grown here for over a century. This rosé is the rebirth of the grapes under a new face; a wine with soft skin color and a crisp, steely mouth, characteristic of the firmness of its origin. Farming is sustainable and organic, and the wines are made with certified Vegan methods. Bronze Medal Winner : vintage 2019 at the 2020 Thessaloniki International Wine & Spirit Competition
Moraitis Dry Rosé 2019 750mlWhen we visited Greece in the early summer of 2010, we fell in love with the wines from the Moraitis Estate located on the beautiful island of Paros. Owned by the Moraitis family, Manolis Moraitis' grandfather founded the winery in 1910 and today is working with one of his sons while his other son finishes school and the military. Moraitis is the only privately owned wine estate on the island and conducts all grape growing with organic methods. This luscious and lovely dry Rosé is made of a blend of indigenous Greek varieties: Mavraidano provides aromas of cherries and plums while the deeply colored Mandilaria grape gives lovely floral notes especially violets. This is clean, crisp and emminently drinkable. When we visited the estate, father Manolis and sons Theo and Savvas were our hosts, but their mom whipped up a light lunch for us including a super smooth, delicious Taramosalata (caviar spread), Parsley and Onion spread on toast topped with a kalamata olive and chunks of Graviera cheese (Greece's 'other famous' sheep's milk cheese). Graviera is more of their table cheese, and the Greek Feta cheese is used in the country's famous Tomato, feta, olive and crusty bread salad. This wine pairs well with all of the above! When you get it home, create something Greek-inspired and this wine will truly sing...

Chateau Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé 2019 750mlMiraval is one of the hottest dry Rosé wines on the market and is made by the talented, quality-driven Marc Perrin. The Perrin family owns the illustrious Beaucastel estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and is considered one of the greatest wine estates in the world. Perrin converted the ancient Miraval vineyard to organic farming when he was hired by the Pitt-Jolie family. The estate is located in the Correns village of the Côtes de Provence region and Perrin blends classic, local grapes including Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle to make this tasty, juicy, dry and stylish offering. We first tasted Miraval dry Rosé in the south of France and then once it arrived stateside three summers ago, we were anxious to bring it in. We positively loved it with tuna, salmon and yellowtail sushi all summer long. Jean-Maurice Raffault Chinon Rose 2019 750mlWe cannot get enough of this French Rosé at home all summer long... made with organic methods and low sulfites, from 100% Cabernet Franc in the Loire Valley, it's just so clean, fresh and delicious. We figure it's also a great way to kick off the World Cup Women's FIFA tournament with this lovely wine and pair it with French goat cheese and a nice seafood dinner. The Jean-Maurice Raffault estate is located in Chinon, in the central Loire Valley, near Tours, and is the northernmost French red wine appellation. The family has been vignerons in Chinon since 1693 and the estate now comprises 40 hectares spread over 6 communes. In 1997, Rodolphe Raffault joined his father Jean-Maurice at the family domaine which had by then grown to 40 hectares. He has been in charge of the vineyards and winemaking since the 2000 vintage. We met him a few years ago, and loved his natural and organic winegrowing and winemaking methods as well as his pride in running the family domaine. He is particularly motivated to continue his late father's innovation of single-site bottling in Chinon, for example with his revival of the historic Clos des Capucins vineyard. Made of 100% Cabernet Franc by the saignée method, this is one of our favorite dry Rose wines. It is so fine and classy, dry and pure with red currant, strawberry, mineral and succulent herb complexities. Bright and lively with a long, succulent finish, it is a versatile wine that drinks well on its own, or with charcuterie, goat cheese, fish, and fowl dishes. We adore this at home with grilled salmon over leafy greens, cucumbers and tomatoes.
Bieler Père et Fils Sabine Rosé 2019 750mlThis classic dry Provençale Rosé has pretty aromas of strawberries, rose petals and plums that continue into the palate. The palate of 'Sabine' is dry with crispy fruits and a zesty, mouthwatering finish. Made of 52% Grenache, 23% Syrah, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cinsault and 3% Rolle and fermented in 100% stainless steel to maintain freshness. Serve with salmon dishes, sushi and sashimi, chips and salsa or turkey burgers on the grill. Bieler Père et Fils Rosé is an homage to Charles Bieler's father, Philippe, who ushered he and his sister Mira into the wine business in the mid-1990s. This particular bottling was named after Charles's daughter, Sabine, who was born in 2005, the year of the wine's inaugural vintage. “Our goal is always to find the delicate balance between floral, herbal, wild red fruit (not overly ripe) and acid… the fruit naturally found a beautiful balance between red fruit and the acid structure without either overpowering each other, or the savory, citrus and mineral core.” – Charles Bieler
Domaines Ott By.Ott Côtes de Provence Rosé 2019 750mlDomaine Ott is the most famous producer of Dry Rosé in the world and located in southern France in Provence, producing quintessential Dry Rosé. With the help of his 23-year-old son Jesse (who came up with the name and concept) and famed French winemaker Gerard Bertrand, Bon Jovi officially launched "Diving Into Hampton Water" with a soiree in February 2018 at the Versace Mansion during the South Beach Food and Wine Festival in Miami.' Graceful, elegant, and adventurous, they are calling her Pink, since this girl sure knows how to get the party started.,..when Pink’s around the fun is never far behind. But be warned when you’re with this girl you never know when day might turn to night…. and night into day. Rosé wine has a staple in the Bongiovi household for many years. 'We've always had a bit of an infatuation with it,' Jesse Bongiovi, the 23-year-old-son of rock icon Jon Bon Jovi, tells CNBC Make It. 'Whenever we'd go out to the Hamptons, we'd always bring cases and cases of the stuff. We like to think we were drinking it before it was cool.' About two years ago, the father-son duo were out on the porch enjoying a bottle with Jesse's college roommate, Ali Thomas. 'My dad had always referred to rosé as 'pink juice,' Bongiovi recalls. But that night, 'we said, 'no, no, no. We call it Hampton Water now.' We all kind of laughed about it and he was like, 'Aw man, that would be a funny name for a rosé.'
