Domaine de Chevalier La Petite Lune Bordeaux Rouge 2015
We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.
La Petite Lune is made by Famille Bernard, owners of the illustrious Domaine de Chevalier in Pessac-Léognan. Olivier Bernard, who is known as one of the true gentlemen of the wine trade, has teamed up with the talented winemaker Stephane Derenoncourt to produce an exceptional wine for a small price in La Petite Lune. Over the years, Bernard has earned a very good reputation by releasing top wines at fair prices. Both the red of Petite Lune (70% Merlot/30% Cabernet Franc) and the white (60% Sauvignon/40% Semillon) deliver amazing levels of enjoyment for a small price tag.
Clos des Lunes, the second winery of Domaine de Chevalier, originally made its reputation on fine dry white Bordeaux. Now the Chevalier team brings their award winning red wine skills to a new red from Clos des Lunes. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this is brightly scented with red and black currant, slate, herb and lead pencil. The palate is rich with red fruits, herbs, and more. There is great density and juicy freshness here with fleshy, creamy tannins.
