La Ferme de Gicon Grenache Noir Rosé 2017
This lovely little dry Rosé is an IGP Gard Rosé from the south of France, made using the most famous grape in Provence, namely Grenache. We discovered this wine this Spring while tasting the newest vintage of dry Rosé wines from around the globe. Made by Château de Gicon located next to the Rhône River, La Ferme de Gicon produces local grapes with classic French style. The Grenache Noir variety is the same grape used in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône, as well as the famous dry Rosé wines of Provence. Look for wild strawberry, rose petal, blood orange and spice notes, and serve with everything all summer long...
