La Crema Monterey Chardonnay 2023

La Crema has dedicated more than 30 years to exploring the many expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from California and Oregon’s finest winegrowing regions. They produce several Chardonnay's from unique appellations, this one is from Monterey County, an 'old school' area for good Chardonnay. On the nose, look for tangerine, grilled pineapple and vanilla. On the palate, peach, papaya and crisp tangerine notes are complemented by a touch of spice and buttery oak. Balanced acidity lingers on the ­finish. Pair with tortellini with pancetta and peas, fried chicken, lobster rolls and creamy cheeses such as Delice de Bourgogne and Fromage d'Affinois.
