Hardin Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Hardin Cabernet has become a run-away success here at the Bottle Shop. Our clients who love rich-tasting Napa Cabs with velvety tannins have been buying it by the case for the last couple of vintages like crazy. We are excited to offer the new vintage, 2016, made of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot. Sourced from 2/3 Rutherford fruit and 1/3 Calistoga, in a combo of both hillside and valley floor fruit, the 2016 was aged for 22 months in oak, 25% new and only 2520 cases were produced. The first Hardin was the 2003, made by the wine-savvy folks at Polaner Selections, and sourced from a Napa 'cult' winery. This 2016 continues that blueprint, sourced from a couple of top wineries in the Valley (SHHH...their wines sell for $75-150/bottle!).

Bottle ShopDeep, rich and plush with classic Cabernet style, this definitely drinks like a Napa wine at a much higher pricepoint. Look for aromas and flavors of red and black bramble fruit, dark chocolate, forest-floor, blue fruits and crushed gravel.
