This ancient white wine of the Campania region is made by the Mastroberardino family, of 100% Greco, from a high altitude estate vineyard. The Greco variety was originally cultivated on the slopes of Vesuvius, where it was named Lacryma Christi. It was later planted in Avellino, where they called it Greco di Tufo. Pure, fine and focused, this is a classic example. Green pear, Meyer lemon, white flower, rocky soil, ginger and anise notes are complex and intriguing. Smooth yet energetic, this will be a crowd-pleaser with seafood, white meats and cheeses or as an aperitif.

Wine Spectator A well-cut, minerally white, with a hint of salinity underscoring the pretty Gala apple, candied lemon zest, apricot and floral notes. Creamy. Drink now through 2021. 13,000 cases made.

Wine AdvocateThe 2016 Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra continues in a long tradition of excellent value from the Campania region in Southern Italy. This vintage delivers extra freshness and intensity in terms of the wine's aromatic profile. Soft fruit tones are followed by dried oregano and crushed white mineral. The wine is forthcoming and crisp in personality.
