Wine Enthusiast90-92. Barrel Sample. This wine is spicy, packed with tannins that are well integrated with the black fruits. It is rich, it is round and it will develop quickly.
Wine SpectatorBlack cherry and cassis flavors are fresh and pure, with gentle vanilla, licorice and singed alder notes filling in through the finish. Shows a flicker of savory on the bright finish. A very pure, charming Pauillac. Drink now through 2028. 2,500 cases made.
Wine AdvocateMedium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Pibran is a little reduced to begin, with black fruits and tar notions plus hints of dried herbs and chocolate. Medium-bodied with a great core of expressive fruit, it has grainy tannins and a refreshing finish. Drink Date: 2019-2031.
