Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Saint Aubin En Remilly 2017
|Region||France, Burgundy, Cote de Beaune|
Wine AdvocateThe 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly is quite giving this year, bursting with expressive aromas of pear, pastry cream, green apple, fresh peach and wheat toast. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and succulent, with an easygoing, open-knit profile that makes it quite an accessible, precocious rendition of this site.
BurghoundModerate reduction dominates the nose with the exception of soft citrus nuances that are also present on the rich and relatively full-bodied flavors that exude a lovely and refreshing salinity on the sappy, detailed and admirably long finale. This isn't quite as tight as the Chatenière but it should also reward a few years of bottle age.
