Cap Royal is named for the 14th century royal Cordouan lighthouse, the oldest in Europe which is situated at the entrance of Bordeaux’s Gironde River. This classic red is an oak aged blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from fine vineyards throughout the Médoc. Look for black fruit, wild strawberry and violet aromas with a touch of toasted bread. The mouth is ample and silky with a long finish. Perfect for foods on the grill or with cheese and pâté.
