We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

Established in Nuits Saint Georges at the beginning of the 1900's, today it is Henri Gouge's two grandsons, Pierre and Christian, who manage the estate. Pierre tends the vineyards with sustainable practices and maintains low yields, while Christian vinifies the wines by blending traditional and modern practices. A gentle use of new oak (never exceeding 20%) keeps the wines balanced and expressive of their rich fruit character. The Gouges family makes the Pruliers from a 2 hectare parcel with a mix of 80% 75+ year old vines and the remainder of 15 to 20 year old vines.

BurghoundHere it seems certain that the underlying fruit is quite ripe. This sense of elevated ripeness extends as well to the rich, supple and solidly well-concentrated flavors that possess excellent depth before culminating in a spicy, tension-filled and wonderfully long finish. A classic Pruliers that offers a very pretty mix of power and finesse. 91-93

Wine AdvocateThe 2010 Nuits St. Georges Les Pruliers boasts good fleshiness and juiciness. This is an up-front, decidedly overt style loaded with blue and black fruit. Firm tannins add support, while expressive floral notes give the finish an attractive lift. Here, too, the wine is surprisingly approachable. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. 90-92
