This citrusy, fleshy dry white is made of 100% Cortese, which is the grape used to make Gavi Bianco in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Look for pure notes of lemons, tangerines and minerals with hints of almonds & pignolia nuts. A great alternative to Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc or unoaked Chardonnay, serve this with seafood antipasto, shellfish, green salads w/poached shrimp, sliced fennel, dried apricots and almonds, or with cheeses, especially Langa La Tur from Piedmont, a blend of sheep, goat and cow’s milk.
