National Rosé Day Tasting

Sunday June 11th is National Rosé Day so in celebration of this momentous occasion we are hosting a wine tasting featuring our favorite summer pleasure :: Dry Rosé. Chic, delicious, lip-smacking and dry in style, Dry Rosé has been very popular in fine wine and food circles for decades and now the public has caught on! Well-known in Provence and France in particular, Dry Rosé is now being produced across the globe by red wine estates using many different grape varieties. The classic Grenache and Syrah grapes are often blended as well as 100% Pinot Noir, Barbera and Sangiovese renditions. We will sample two classic Grenache-based, south of France wines as well as an elegant, pure 100% Pinot Noir made by the illustrious Flowers Winery on the extreme Sonoma Coast.
