Join us for this special event featuring the Bottle Shop's own single barrel of high-rye bourbon crafted by the legendary Four Roses distillery in Kentucky. Aged for 8 years, our private barrel was chosen after we tasted multiple barrels with varying ages, then decided upon this bottling, with 35% Rye Mashbill. We found nuts, spices and maple syrup in the nose, followed by a smooth yet rich palate that is never 'hot' nor too dry. Our Four Roses Single Barrel has the perfect balance of flavor, alcohol and roundness. Lovely and complex with flavors of roasted nuts, honey, spices and the perfect level of sweetness.

Our guest VIP is Stephen Schuler from Proof Positive Beverages, a whisky specialist representing Four Roses. In addition to our own single barrel release, Stephen will showcase the Four Roses multiple award-winning Small Batch Bourbon.

Our latest private barrel was aged and crafted by the award-winning Four Roses distillery in Kentucky.  We tasted multiple barrels with varying ages, then decided upon this bottling, aged 8 years with 35% Rye Mashbill. We found nuts, spices and maple syrup in the nose, followed by a smooth yet rich palate that is never 'hot' nor too dry. Our Four Roses Single Barrel has the perfect balance of flavor, alcohol and roundness. Perhaps not as dense as our Widow Jane bottling, this Four Roses is quite lovely and complex with similar flavors of roasted nuts, honey, spices and boasts the perfect level of sweetness (but don't worry, it's not sweet!).
