2019 California Gems on Sale
Martinelli Pinots and Turley Zinfandel
Last Chance for these Limited Wines!!!
Martinelli and Turley are two of the best names in old vine California reds, specializing in Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. In typical years, neither estate makes a ton of wine due to low yielding vines, but in 2020, there was even less, with Napa, Sonoma and the Willamette Valleys making very little, or no Pinot Noir. So this is a great opportunity to stock up on these extremely limited beauties from the exceptional 2019 vintage, for lovers of rich & luscious Cali reds.
Cheers to 50 Years! the Murray family

RATED 93 WINE ENTHUSIAST : 'Silky and luxurious, with wild shocks of cinnamon and nutmeg, this lush, full-bodied wine is riddled in rich layers of strawberry and boysenberry. It holds its weight and breadth well, showing underlying acidity that winds its way into the foundational structure.' 'One of the great families of Northern California, and of course, one of the highest quality producers, the Martinellis, only estate-bottle 15% of their production from 300 acres of beautifully situated vineyards in the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. No doubt Helen Turley, who worked at Martinelli and mentored its team, left a profound influence on the quality of the wines, a fact that can’t be overstated. The Pinot Noirs are always 100% destemmed and largely spend no longer than ten months in about 60% new French oak.' Robert M. Parker Jr. |

RATED 95 WINE ADVOCATE : 'The 2019 Pinot Noir Bondi Home Ranch has alluring scents of wild blackberries, licorice, dried orange peel and amaro. The medium-bodied palate is grainy and fresh with surprising depth of flavor, loaded with spicy accents and finishing very long.' 'The 2019 Pinot Noir Bondi Home Ranch is bold and lush in its first impression. Succulent red cherry, spice, dried cherry, tobacco and cedar make a strong opening statement. This racy, luscious Pinot has a ton to offer. It is also one of the most forward, ripe wines in the range. The long growing season in this Green Valley site yielded a Pinot endowed with tons of creaminess. The Bondi Ranch is one of the few Martinelli Pinots to incorporate the Calera clone with the Dijon clones that are much more typical in the family's ranches.' Vinous 94 |

RATED 95+ WINE ADVOCATE : 'The 2019 Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch takes some time in the glass to reveal its dark, floral-laced berry fruits and accents of earth and laurel. The palate surprises, bursting with berry fruits and loads of spicy accents. It has a grainy frame and bright freshness that calls you in for another sip, and it finishes long and loaded with flavor. It's a stunner that will require another 2-3 years in bottle to show all it's got.'
