The winery firmly adheres to the painstaking, small lot, hands on, traditional Burgundian approach to winemaking that has resulted in wines that are sought out by the most sophisticated wine buyers and applauded by the most discerning critics. The estate vineyards are maintained with the same quality-driven discipline as the winery. Because the winery only uses a fraction of the fruit grown, the remaining grapes sold from the vineyards of Robert Talbott are highly sought after by other prestigious wineries.
