Our philosophy tends to harmonize the richness of Beaujolais terroirs with the barrel ageing tradition in order to obtain concentration elegance and deepness for each wine according to the different types of terroirs. The rigorous selection of parcels, chich are located on the best terroirs of each appellation, is combined with a methodical vinification steady into the pure tradition of POTEL-AVIRON. A choice is also made on the age of the vineyard (35 years old as a minimum) so that we can give more longevity and character to the wine. All this implies a perpetual rigour and above all an appropriate work of the soil, and an appropriate pruning for each type of soil to obtain moderate yields. Herbicidal products are also reduced to the minimum.
