Bacio Divino Pazzo 2005
 |
|
BN#214614 |
Tasted & loved by our staff, Pazzo means Crazy in Italian, a nod to its style & blend. Sangiovese, Petite Syrah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon are in the mix which gives an intense nose with black rasp-berry, spiced strawberries & zesty acidity.
Wine Advocate
The 2005 Pazzo is a gorgeously hedonistic, flavorful blend of 73% Sangiovese and the rest small amounts of Petite Sirah, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and even a touch of the white varietal, Viognier. A fragrant perfume of sweet roasted herbs, kirsch, black currants, and pepper jumps from the glass of this supple-textured, fleshy wine. The ideal bistro-styled red, it will be fun to drink over the next 2-3 years. While proprietor Claus Janzen continues to fine-tune his Cabernet Sauvignon program, the strength of his portfolio remains his innovative blends. Drink 2007-2010.
