St. Urbans-Hof is a high quality German estate which is a member of the elite VDP group. Of the 35,000+ labels produced in Germany, only about 180 are VDP members. You will notice the eagle logo and VDP on the capsule of this bottle. Made from 100% estate grown and bottled fruit, this lovely off-dry Riesling is made by Nik Weis who is a third generation vintner who, along with his family, runs the estate. Look for zesty, racy tangerine, mineral and herb tones, with a chalky minerality and a long, fresh citrus finish. Serve with Asian fare, especially sushi and ginger-accented dishes, or with fresh fruits, soft cheeses and nuts.
