You’ve gotta love the name of this California Zinfandel and the wine is quite big in flavor with spicy, peppery red and black fruits. It makes a statement for sure!

A good value is the 2005 7 Deadly Zins. The wine possesses slightly more fruit as well as a more complete mid-section than the 2006. It is a very good effort showing plenty of oak in addition to abundant varietal character in its briery, cherry, raspberry, earthy personality. It is meant to be consumed over the next several years.
