Pinot Noir specialist Patty Green began her wine career by humbly picking grapes at Hillcrest Vineyard. She went on to build a reputation for handcrafting exceptional Pinot Noir in Oregon’s beautiful valleys. Patty now owns a 52 acre estate and makes a full range of wines including this single vineyard Pinot brimming with blackberry, cherry, anise and intriguing mineral flavors. This is mouth-filling and luscious.
International Wine Cellar
Intense blackberry and cherry aromas are complicated by notes of anise, sassafras and smoky minerals. Plush, expansive dark berry flavors show an attractive pliancy and pick up a touch of bitter cherry with air. Fine-grained tannins add shape and grip to a long, mineral-accented finish. This drinks very well now but has the depth to suggest patience will be repaid.
