Look for primary aromas of cherries, strawberries and raspberries with notes of vanilla and cocoa. Round and soft in the mouth, with bright red berry flavors, the fruit and oak are balanced in the finish. McManis blends a dollup of Petit Verdot with the Pinot Noir for violet accents and deeper color. Fermented in stainless steel, then aged in both new and used oak, French and American, this little Pinot offers a very good value. The McManis wine company was founded in 1990 by Ron & Jamie McManis, 4th generation family farmers. The family has been growing grapes in Northern San Joaquin Valley since 1938.
