This tasty little number has had a place in our shop for 14+ years, and it keeps getting better and better. The grapes come from Finca La Mota, a 60+ acre vineyard that is 2,700 feet in elevation with clay/limestone soils. A blend of the indigenous Spanish grapes, 70% Airen and 30% Macabeo, it is tank-fermented with a dry, crisp, yet fruit-driven style. Hints of lemon oil, citrus, sea breezes, and mint emerge from this food-friendly, and wallet-friendly white. Serve as an aperitif, with cold seafood antipasto, garlicky shrimp, salads with shrimp or octopus, or with light goat's or sheep's milk cheeses.
