The 2005 Cabernet Franc “Alder Ridge Vineyard” is blended with 15% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Purple-colored, it has an expressive bouquet of fresh herbs, clove, pepper, cranberry, and plum. This is followed by a medium-bodied, supple-textured wine with layers of spicy fruit, and excellent integration of oak, tannin, and acidity. This tasty wine will evolve for 2-3 years and drink well through 2017.
