First produced in 1978 by the Bogle family, Petite Sirah is considered Bogle's 'heritage' varietal. Bright aromas of ripe summer boysenberries and blueberries are followed by hints of black pepper and herbs. The trademark inky and jammy tones of the Petite Sirah grape fill the mouth with black fruit: berries, currants and spice. Toasty oak surrounds the wine, adding subtle hints of cocoa and leather. Try this unique, rich red wine with hearty meat dishes of lamb, pork or beef with hearty sauces.
