Bodegas Muga Rioja Rosado 2007
|
Easily the most popular Spanish Rosé on the market. Made by one of Rioja’s premier wineries, look for dry, crisp flavors with notes strawberries and plums. Truly bone dry, served on Easter Sunday, this matched very well with fresh ham and spicy mustard. This is an usual blend of red and white grapes (versus all red grapes) which probably gives the wine an added freshness and lightness. Made of 60% Garnacha, 30% Viura (the white grape) and 10% Tempranillo.
