Skouras Saint George 2004
|
The Saint George grape is believed to be related to Sangiovese, which would make sense because the Greeks were the 1st to plant vinifera grapes in Italy. Look for tasty red & black fruits, hints of spice and good density & lift. The red & rocky soils in Nemea are volcanic and extremely low yielding. Aged in French Burgundian barrels.
