Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Wine Advocate
One of the more underrated Cabernet Sauvignons in Napa (and it’s not surprising that I feel the same way about their nearby neighbor, Seavey) is Anderson’s Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from no other place than ... the Conn Valley. The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has beautiful notes of licorice, incense, and a hint of tapenade intermixed with creme de cassis, smoke, and background graphite. A pure, rich wine that is more structured and restrained than the 2004, but with plenty of tannin and admirable concentration and depth, give this wine 2-4 years of bottle age and drink it over the next 25 years.
Score: 94.
